Little Stella for Herd

A while back I shot local Ottawa band Little Stella for Herd Magazine. They're genre is hard to pin down, which I usually find is a sign of a good, or at least fresh sounding band. They are both, and definitely worth a listen, and to see live. They pull off those harmonies and doubling guitar parts with ease. Not to mention that the drummer is also the lead singer. I got to see them three times within a week kind of by accident. They played with HIGHS and Graydon James & The Young Novelists at the Mansion in Kingston, then Maverick's with Ivan & Alyosha, The Lone Bellow, and Twin Forks, and finally the big Herd party at Mercury Lounge. They killed it at every show.

They also premiered their music video for Bluff at the Herd party, made by the folks at Jackpine and Stuffed Motion. Check it out below.

Here's the tearsheet, a few images from the shoot, and a live shot from the Kingston show.
