Megan Turnbull for Ottawa Magazine

The September issue of Ottawa Magazine came out today, where you'll find a couple portraits I shot a few months ago. Megan Turnbull is a visual artist who has focused on little paper sculptures in stop motion video over the last few years. I wanted to incorporate both the paper and the 'emerging artist' aspect into the shoot, and with a few different setups and back and forth ideas on set, we got the photo below. Having someone willing to play with weird ideas and come up with some on their own makes for the best kind of shoots.
