Steve Benson of Ottawa Cocktails

One of the coolest shoots I've done recently was for one of my favourite clients, Ottawa Magazine. I was assigned to shoot Steve Benson, flair bartender and owner of Ottawa Cocktails.

We shot at SpinBin, the basement of The Great Canadian Cabin. With some coloured LEDs and modelling lights, a quick flash, long exposure, and juggling bottles that were literally ON FIRE, we got this image. This is what it looked like 90% right out of camera.

The place was bumpin' some good tunes too (in the middle of the afternoon) which was great to work to. You can see my assistant Jackson gettin' down for the test shots in this video I instagrammed.
