National Chief Perry Bellegarde

Today is National Aboriginal Day, but to be accurate, the Prime Minister announced, “from here forward the Government’s intention is to rename this day National Indigenous Peoples Day.”

I had the pleasure of photographing Perry Bellegarde, the National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations for Maclean's recently. Here's one of the images below.
